Software update v3.1.0 for AUTHOR TS 100 v.2 — even more reliable and convenient!
Our Development team has introduced a new software version for the AUTHOR TS 100 v.2 device, designed for auto-electricians. The update makes working with the device even more precise, safe, and convenient.
Enhancements:
– Improved algorithm for detecting digital buses CAN-H, CAN-L (at speeds from 500K to 100K) and LIN — the device now detects the CAN bus more accurately at different speeds.
– Added support for PWM* signals in the range from 2 Hz to 40 Hz — this expands diagnostic capabilities.
– The oscilloscope now displays the sampling frequency — from 2 kHz to 400 kHz.
– Fixed buzzer sound issue when the voltage ranges from 24 to 30 V.
– Added smooth flashlight operation — now without any abrupt changes.
– Implemented automatic load disconnection (1 kΩ or 50 Ω) after 30 seconds to prevent device overheating.
– Introduced reverse polarity protection — if connected improperly, the device will not malfunction and it will alert about the error.
AUTHOR TS 100 v.2 is becoming even more error-resistant, precise in operation, and safe for daily use by auto-electricians.
*PWM (pulse-width modulation) is a power control method used to regulate voltage and current in electronic devices. It allows changing the average value of voltage supplied to the load by varying the width of pulses within a specified period.
