This release improves device stability, advances the shared software platform, and enhances support for modern vehicles, including hybrid and electric models.
One of the key highlights of version 3.13 is the migration of AUTHOR AUTOSTART, AUTHOR IGLA LF, and AUTHOR IGLA C to the shared AUTHOR IGLA codebase. This unified platform simplifies future maintenance while enabling faster and more consistent feature development across the product lineup.
Key Updates
AUTHOR IGLA LF and AUTHOR IGLA C now share the AUTHOR IGLA codebase
Following the update, vehicle coverage for AUTHOR IGLA LF and AUTHOR IGLA C has been expanded to more closely match that of AUTHOR IGLA. In addition, both products now include many of the settings and features already available in the AUTHOR IGLA platform.

AUTHOR ALARM WB 1L now supports authorization via AUTHOR KLB
AUTHOR ALARM WB 1L, which does not include its own radio module, now supports tag-based authorization through AUTHOR KLB. When KLB detects an authorized tag, it transmits an authorization signal to the system over the CAN bus.
Alternative control inputs added for selected vehicles
On certain vehicles, pressing the brake pedal can unintentionally trigger engine immobilization—for example, while entering the emergency PIN reset code. To prevent this, the software for affected vehicle models can be preconfigured to use an alternative factory control, such as the hazard light switch, the high-beam switch, or another OEM control.
Installers do not configure this option manually. If an alternative control input is required for a specific vehicle, the information will be provided in the vehicle notes on the AUTHOR service website.
Improved support for hybrid and electric vehicles
The system logic has been further optimized for hybrid and electric vehicles. Card code entry is now more reliable, and an issue affecting emergency code entry on certain hybrid and electric models has been resolved.
New device power restart event in AUTHOR CONNECT 2.01
A new event has been added to AUTHOR CONNECT 2.0 that records when the anti-theft device is power-cycled. Whenever the device restarts, a corresponding event is displayed in the app's activity feed.
Vehicle status updates in AUTHOR CONNECT 2.01
Vehicle data—including fuel level, temperature, and odometer readings—is now refreshed automatically each time the app is opened, providing users with the latest available vehicle information.
Bug Fixes
Software version 3.13 includes several fixes that improve the stability and reliability of AUTHOR security and anti-theft systems.
The Anti-Tamper feature has been updated to eliminate false activations during factory remote start. An issue where the siren could fail to sound after a second engine start attempt following an Anti-Tamper event has also been resolved.
PIN code authorization in Engine Stall mode has been improved. In certain situations, authorization could be delayed after the final PIN button press, resulting in unintended engine blocking. This issue has been fixed.
The system's LED indication following Anti-Hijack and Engine Stall activation has also been corrected. Instead of the incorrect four-flash indication, the system now provides the intended two-flash confirmation.
The arming confirmation sound has been corrected when the vehicle is armed with the accelerometer disabled. Audible feedback now matches the intended system behavior.
In addition, the "Key fob search while disarming via standard key fob" feature has been refined for remote start operation. The updated logic now correctly accounts for the status of protected zones when remote start is activated while the vehicle is already armed.
Software version 3.13 is now available for all compatible devices. Before updating or configuring your system, we recommend reviewing the latest installation guides.
