If you own a security and telematic system based on the ATLAS GSM module or COMPASS GSM/GPS module equipped with AUTOSTART, you can now enjoy a new function of automatic engine start when the battery is low.
Autostart takes place when the battery is gradually discharging to a level set by software. Once the autostart is complete, the battery will recharge to its optimum level.
How does it work?
Switch on the voltage drop control in the AUTHOR CONNECT mobile app* by activating the "Run at low charge" mode.
Select the voltage limit. When it falls by longer than 5 minutes, the system will start the engine.
Set the required engine running time.
Click "How often?”, set the level before which the system will not restart the engine. This function prevents too frequent attempts to start the engine when the battery is not fully discharged and prevents it from complete discharge.
Once the autostart is complete, the battery will recharge to its optimum level.
While on vacations or on a long business trip, you can be safe about your car’s battery — AUTHOR will take care of it.
