Key updates for the entire line

The update has a number of improvements:

• support for AUTHOR SIREN BT (for AUTHOR ALARM FD and AUTHOR IGLA FD);

• Anti-tamper feature—if the user turns on the ignition and doesn’t complete authorization within a specified time, a sound and light alarm is activated (for AUTHOR ALARM FD and AUTHOR IGLA FD);

• remapping of the gas and brake pedals (for AUTHOR ALARM FD and AUTHOR IGLA FD);

• choice of accelerometer source (for AUTHOR ALARM FD);

• bugs from the previous version were fixed and overall system stability was improved.

More about the feature

1. Anti-tamper is a feature of anti-theft and security systems designed to attract attention if authorization is not completed within a specified time after the ignition is turned on. All parameters of this feature—mode, delays, and response duration—can be flexibly set in the AUTHOR FLASHER program, allowing functionality to be tailored to the requirements of different markets and regulatory restrictions.

2. SIREN BT now works with many of our products. In addition to its primary function of drawing attention to the vehicle during an attempted theft, it can also activate additional analog blocking and work as a remote accelerometer. Thanks to SIREN BT’s unique installation features, it will better recognize when shock, tilt, and motion sensors are triggered. This means the security device can be installed anywhere in a vehicle, without the need for rigid mounting to the body.

3. Remapping the gas and brake pedals lets you reassign these pedals to any other button in the car’s interior. This will resolve the problem of possible errors and inaccuracies in the pedal menu on some vehicles.
