We are delighted to announce the release of the new firmware — nRF v8.1.
It improves the functionality of AUTHOR Bluetooth devices.

Enhancements:
- Improved accuracy of IGLA ALARM's built-in shock sensor.
- A more stable Bluetooth connection when using iPhone as a keyfob in IGLA / IGLA ALARM devices.
- Overall optimization and a higher performance.
How to update the firmware
3. For devices based on nRF v8.0:
Update the firmware via Author Flasher (Version 4.7 or higher) or via nRF Device Firmware Update.
- Improved accuracy of IGLA ALARM's built-in shock sensor.
- A more stable Bluetooth connection when using iPhone as a keyfob in IGLA / IGLA ALARM devices.
- Overall optimization and a higher performance.
How to update the firmware
- Go to the service portal and download dfu_central_52_sdk15_v8.1.0 (Documentation and files — Bluetooth radio version update. IGLA Next).
- For devices based on Version 7.9.7 (or earlier):
