A new module, AUTHOR TOR BT, has joined the AUTHOR accessory lineup.
Designed to work within AUTHOR anti-theft systems, the device provides analog engine immobilization and analog siren control.
The main difference between AUTHOR TOR BT and the classic AUTHOR TOR module is its wireless connection to the control unit. While the classic AUTHOR TOR requires a CAN bus connection using CAN Dialog technology, AUTHOR TOR BT operates over a radio channel. This opens up more placement options for the module inside the vehicle and makes anti-theft configurations highly flexible.
