We are delighted to announce the release of a new AUTHOR Flasher version — 4.9.
AUTHOR Flasher 4.9 adds settings for new features of firmware v3.12 for AUTHOR IGLA/ALARM systems, such as:
- Driver side selection — a setting for manual selection of the right-hand or left-hand drive.
- Using the central lock status to arm or disarm the car — a setting for arming/disarming the car perimeter protection, which is used in the AUTHOR ALARM system by closing/opening the central lock.
- Digital engine shut-off and Digital start inhibit — settings for digital blocking via the CAN bus.
- Conditions for arming the immobilizer — a setting that allows you to select the conditions and time for putting the immobilizer into the Armed mode.
- Sound alert upon keyfob detection for the Two-factor Perimeter Disarming feature — a setting that allows you to turn on or off the siren sound signal in AUTHOR ALARM, confirming the successful detection of the keyfob after disarming the car and opening a door.
- Notifications about blocking of OBD-II diagnostics — a setting that allows you to enable or disable notifications about the operation of the Diagnostic Exchange Blocking feature by using the AUTHOR Connect app. *
- Expanded functionality of analog blocking:
- Output to additional blocking in the Engine Shut-off and Start Inhibit modes (NO)
- Output to additional blocking in the Engine Shut-off and Start Inhibit modes (NC)
- Output to additional blocking in the Start Inhibit mode (NC)
- Output to additional blocking of the Start/Stop button.
Besides, the new version improves the grouping of settings and adds user-friendly tips.
