The new software update v2.2.0 for AUTHOR COMPASS and AUTHOR TELE COMPASS 2 2G/4G devices is now available.
The update adds CAN-FD support. AUTHOR COMPASS and AUTHOR TELE COMPASS 2 now work with modern CAN-FD buses and are compatible with AUTHOR IGLA FD and AUTHOR ALARM FD devices. After the new version of AUTOSTART FD is released, the telematics devices can also be used in integrated installations with this solution.
This expands the possibilities of integrated installations: AUTHOR telematics devices can interact with anti-theft, security, and comfort systems, allowing them to be controlled through the AUTHOR Connect 2.0 mobile app.
For system owners, this means more convenient vehicle control, as well as management of security, protection, and comfort features in a single interface.
We recommend updating AUTHOR COMPASS and AUTHOR TELE COMPASS 2 devices to version 2.2.0 in order to use the new software capabilities and ensure up-to-date support for modern vehicle platforms.
