VOLK
VOLK is a broadband (100-2,700 MHz) RF signal suppression detector that can find jammers (RF generators) trying to steal your car and promptly inform the owner and others about such attempt.
Advice
Operating principle
The module switches to operating mode 1 minute after the ignition turns off. The device analyzes electromagnetic background and, if any jamming detected, sends a signal to the car's siren and to the status output to which a GSM module or signaling can be connected (to notify about jamming via the car's standard means). When high-level electromagnetic interference lasts less than one minute, the device turns off the siren in 0 … 8 seconds after the signal disappears, but the status output remains active.
If the high-level electromagnetic interference lasts longer than one minute, the device turns off the siren after 1 minute, but status output remains active. To disable this alarm function, turn on the ignition (the siren is turned off, the status output is inactive). The device goes into sleep mode, reducing power consumption.
Benefits and features
Confirms correct connection with a sound.
Consumes only 4.4 mA in sleep mode and 9.2 mA in operating mode.
Works with standard immobilizers and alarms.
Stealth installation anywhere in the car. Dust- and moisture proof.
