More about input/output configuration for IGLA

Analog inputs and outputs can be configured for the following devices:

- IGLA Alarm, IGLA ECO
- IGLA M, IGLA BASE.

For these devices, the feature is supported for IGLA firmware V3.10 and higher. For more details, please read our February news New firmware – IGLA V3.10.0

How it works

The new feature requires firmware V3.10 and higher.

Once you have connected a device to Author Flasher 4.6, a new menu becomes available in the Actions field — Input/output settings. Use it to configure the device's wires.

More about functionality of wires and available features

Depending on a device model, the number of wires and features available for configuration may differ.

1. Functionality of wires
2. Available features

For a wire configured as an input:
- Service input
- Analog ignition
- Alarm input.
For a wire configured as an output:
- Blocking output (normally closed logic)
- Blocking output (normally open logic)
- Analog validator
- Hazard lights (or another external indication)
- Alternative management of hazard lights
- Analog shutting of the central lock
- Analog opening of the central lock

- Authorization status
- Feature 1*
- Feature 2*
- Feature 3*
- Feature 4*
- Feature 5*
- A test signal to check operability of the device and output (signal lasting 1 sec with the interval of 1 sec)
- LIN.

*The feature can be used to implement the functionality that depends on a specific car. For description of features for a particular car, please go to the Firmware and Comments tab on the service portal.

3. Selection of signal inversion

The feature determines the following:
For device inputs — whether the device will react to the occurrence of a signal at the input or to the loss of the signal.
For example:
1. The signal "—" is applied to the input — alarm is triggered.
2. The signal "—" disappears from the input — alarm is triggered.
For device outputs — whether the device will send a signal to its output when the feature is triggered or the signal will disappear at the output when the feature is triggered.
For example:
1. There is no "—" at the output — a command is given to shut the central lock — the "—" pulse occurs at the output for 0.6 sec. – The central lock is shut.
2. The signal "—" is constantly present at the output — a command is given to shut the central lock — a "—" pulse disappears at the output for 0.6 seconds. – The central lock is shut.

With the Wire Remapping feature, the installer has a powerful tool to reach the maximum efficiency, functionality, and usability of the anti-theft system for any supported car.
