KIA and Hyundai: manage the standard autostart

Dear Users and Partners,

We are delighted to announce a new method of automatic engine start for KIA and Hyundai.

The AUTOSTART module applies certain algorithms to manage the standard Autostart feature for a number of KIA and Hyundai models.

Now you can install AUTOSTART to KIA or Hyundai much easier and faster.

What are the advantages and features of this method?

Previously, to implement the Autostart feature for KIA or Hyundai, you had to:

  • Connect the AR320 relay module to power circuits for controlling the ignition system.
  • Get connected to the car's LIN bus to implement the Standard Immobilizer Bypass feature.
  • Perform the Training process to bypass the standard immobilizer.

Besides, connection points could be located in various places of the car, which complicated the process even further and increased the installation time.

The new method provides easy installation and configuration:

  • You do not have to connect any optional equipment, such as AR320 or AR20 relay modules.
  • It is enough to connect only 6 wires — two CAN buses and power supply while you can carry out all connections quickly and in a single place.
  • You do not have to perform any Training process to bypass the standard immobilizer.

Once connected, the device will immediately be ready for use.

Specific feature

Noteworthy, it is impossible to set the autostart duration for longer than 10 minutes. This is due to limitations embedded in autostart functionality of these car models. If this is critical for you, the installer can offer an option using an analog ignition control (via AR320). To that end, the service portal provides two connection options.

Here is a list of cars that support the new autostart method (to be expanded):
