The user-friendly Author Connect mobile app (available for IOS and Android) installed on smartphone enables the owner to control the car’s location and condition. It can also remotely block the engine promptly if needed or in case of any danger.
The system includes two devices that interact with each other through regular car’s wiring in the dialog exchange mode via CAN bus:
1. The GSM/GPS COMPASS module:
Controls car location via GPS and LBS (coordinates detected by cell towers).
Controls additional customizable analog outputs.
Sends commands for engine blocking/unblocking to IGLA C.
2. IGLA C:
Blocks the engine digitally via CAN bus.
Blocks the engine via additional relay.
Sends status messages regarding the car’s condition to COMPASS.
