Principle of operation
To bypass the protection of a regular immobilizer, a second standard key is placed inside the module, which ZOND masks and monitors. Thus, the car "sees" the key only when the engine is started remotely. ZOND is installed in the break of a regular immobilizer antenna and does not require additional settings.
The ZOND module enables AUTOSTART to work on BMW.
AUTOSTART, when working together with ZOND, retains all its functionality:
CAN bus connection
Car perimeter protection while running autorun
Control via standard keyfob
Compatible with third-party security systems
